GOOD THINGS TO BUY
For those of you who have spent a lot of money and time of the years cleaning carburetors and other difficult
engine parts look no further : We have recently purchased an electronic bath cleaner simply brilliant and not
expensive. The process is easy and results fantastic the component looks like brand new. You will find on the
web together with cleaning solutions for all your needs. It will also clean your wife’s jewellery!!!
Experienced problems with fuel injection on your KTM ? On occasions
the bike appears to be running out of fuel, then stops, then starts for a
few minutes, then stops again, you put the bike on the diagnostic
computer and it tells you there is no fault. The problem I have found is
a very sensitive earth lead from the battery to the chassis.
A simple solution: run an extra cable from the negative terminal on the
battery direct to the engine. A connection to any of the 8ml bolts will
work. Great result with my bikes despite the fact I have pulled all my hair out finding the solution. If you are
experiencing a similar issue hope it helps.

I am consistently asked what is the difference
between the bikes used for trail bike riding and
adventure bike riding? Its like comparing chalk with
Trail bikes This is the confusing bit. There are very
few trail bikes manufactured that are up to the job.
Nearly all bikes used for trail bike riding are enduro
bikes not trail bikes. Enduro bikes for trail bike riding
vary with different engine capacities 125 up to 530.
4 stroke and 2 stroke. That is the nature of the
Adventure Bikes These are technically not off road bikes. They are capable of limited off road riding. They are
very heavy bikes and very expensive to repair i.e if you drop them on rocks etc expect big bills. Therefore if you
want to do limited adventures off roading and I mean
limited and don´t mind big bills these are for you.
The Dakar bikes are modified enduro bikes not
adventure bikes. Dont be fooled into buying an
Adventure Bike if you want a true off road riding
experience. Buy yourself an enduro bike.
My advice for new off roaders is to buy the smaller cc
engine. Retailers will try and sell you a 450, you may
find at first they are too powerful and it will put you
off. This is a shame because true trail bike riding is a
wonderful way to explore the countryside.

Honda 2 stroke and 4 stroke enduro bikes with variable cc engine capacities?
